The Birthday Girl

* the photo was taken by my travel mate Dila in Bandung, October 2010

So here we go, it's official I become that 23-years-old-lady. No mourning because of getting older but also no overwhelming happiness. So how does it feel? Basically normal, but deep inside I feel a lil bit sad... I suppose that is a lil girl in me who realized her life quota is decreased a year... Well, c'est la vie :)

Despite the lil bit blue feeling, I feel very blessed today. And so I am going to give a thankful speech :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • First thanks of course goes to God's Almighty, Allah SWT, who gave me life, a very beautiful life. God, thank you very much for the opportunity to live, to feel happy, to feel hurt, to achieve, to make a mistake then learn from it, simply for everything!
  • To my mother an father, for becoming a superb parents for me and my siblings... I was more than realized that I still haven't become your best children but I'm on my way... There's no bigger happiness for me as make you both proud. Until the rest of my life, that's what I'm trying to do, Mom, Dad, make you both always proud and happy :')
  • To Adin n Izzah... it is a blessing having siblings like you all. I am sorry for the yells, for the angry, for the bad mood times... It may not seen as it is, but I never imagine another brother and sister who greater than you both. I love you, tadpoles!
  • To my big Ampel family. Nothing can beat family bond! This is the real home :)
  • Another family who treat me like their own siblings... ITS Online, Despro 2007, 8th Splendid... Too much to say dear friends...  I wrapped everything in a big thank you! :)
  • Last but not least, of course my dear MasnyaMisstyzha. Now it's clear why I was born with all these imperfect; there is you to complete me :) I love you! I almost can't wait till that day comeee.. aargghhh!! #publicsecret :D
  • And of course for you all, friends, readers, who give me your warm greetings, sweet comments, read my daily babbling hehehe...thank you! I am a year older today and I promised I'll do better each day I grow up! Pinky promise! :D

Then, have a super day and enjoy your New Years eve night outs or ins! See you next year, cupcakes! Oh and don't forget your NYE's resolution! xoxoxoxo

*just fyi, my mom said I was born in 2.30 PM. So you know I'll try post in exact time as I was born! Heheh...

Geek is in This Blog

I know I know I was a gadget geek! I have just found a scheduled feature in my blog couple weeks ago. Haha... it's so lame, huh? Yes you can laugh in front of my face, I admitted it ;p Go on!

The really helpful thing about this feature is I can write several post and schedule it to appear once a day. It’s good to make a continuous post appearing in my blog! No more hiatus because of no-time or no-mood when I can make deposit! My blog simply look like it’s live every day hehehe *devil smirk* It's really genius invention, dear Blogspot! :D

See you around people!! Anyway this post also made with that scheduled post feature hihi…

Dream Wedding Gown

I’m into Dian Pelangi rite now… I drooling over her bride collection. I personally like it better than Irna la Perle. Well, they have different style of course and DP suits me better. The collection is... colorful yet glamour. It is clearly represent wedding as a celebration. Festive!

No thin transparent material.. It just bold. Soo different…  And the best thing is she use a lot of colorful gems. I think I was bored with swarovski... so seeing embroideried gowns with those candies color is just wonderful.

DP in her wedding day, wearing her own collection

Of course I "force"’ my bf to take a look for them in DP’s boutique hehe... Can’t wait to hear what he thinks of them ;p Oh I'm dreaming about wearing sort of those gown in my future wedding :) Aaaamminnn!

I'll see you later! :)

23th Wishes

Wow, we almost get into last week of December! Honestly I wasn't really looking forward to 2012; talk about my final bar of Final Project that will be hold next January! (I'm seriously praying that it will be delayed hehehe…two weeks more will just fine, dear lecturer!)

And rumor has it that I’m not into counting days to NYE since I will be 23 years old this end of December. Aaaaa… How can I be that old?? Seems like yesterday I was still 17! (Okay, I go too far..) Well anyway the point of this post is I’m going to launch my birthday wishlist this year! Yippieee…(Well, why there’s no hands-clapping? Are you all not thrilled? Not? Well, just pretend you are hehe..)

Since I got almost of my last year birthday list I’m going to do the same this year. Well, my bf did his part very well but I got enough cash to buy almost all my bday wish, that’s the best! Alhamdulillah
So here we go the list!

1. A Faber Castell marker. It’s not that expensive actually but I don’t know how I couldn’t spare my money for this in the past! But not this time, I already bought this baby as an early bday gift for myself hehehe...

2. A skirt. Oh I’m really into skirt know. On the last sale I attended, I found myself digging for a skirt, not a blouse or cute jeans like usual. So you know, it’ts serious. Of course it should be 7/8 or angle skirt for hijabers like me..

3. City bike. Actually I had saved my money a year-round and planned to buy it very soon! I am thrilled to do a morning bicycling around my housing!

4. Print my own name card. Honestly I already have some…but I was looking forward to have new one, maybe with different style to differ myself as a designer and writer

5. Blackberry. I never feels a need for this smartphone until now. Internet is a basic needs for me nowadays and I think will be greater in the future. Having a phonet that let you connect through the internet along the day was perfect idea. I’ll do some research about it later.

6. Doc Mart boots or Kickers wedges or Up Candi wedges or Wondershoe sateen flats. Shoe fetish.

7. Small screen notebook so I can bring life everywhere without having a regular backache. Plus it’s will be more practical; I can do blogging everywhere, teehee..

8. But after all my biggest birthday wish is I graduate next March and got that damn perfect A for both my Design Research and Final Project! Aminnn!!! God pleaseeee!!!!

9. Well, that's all I can thinking about... Oh and I also won't refused any flower bouquet hehe... Girls typical ;p

In the other hand, my mom already gave me an early birthday gift. Tons of chocolate! Hehehe…I prefer the black ones that the milk one honestly :p I’m not into too sweet; I’m already that sweet hahahahahahah!!

Well those are my wishes! Is there any of you who have birthday in the end of this year too? I wish you a happy-long-life, fellas! Proud to be December guys! Let me see your birthday wishes too! :)

I'll see you soon!

Homey Hometown

Hello people! How’s your day say far? Hehe I’m back to to the city after spent a very short holiday in my hometown. Aaaa... honestly I haven’t got enough of it but Final Project was calling so here I am back to the reality.. *deep sigh*

Hometown always be the best since I don’t’t need to worry about money; there're my mum and dad to pay everything (such a brat! hehehe..), there is my lil sister around; I can play with her all the time and get a free massage whenever I want (or force ;p). You know she is still 9 years old but she got the hand, I guarantee... and the peaceful environment where you can have a house without a fence and just park motorcycle outside without worrying about thief. So you know, only spent 5 day there was the lamest thing in my December so far *crying*

I didn’t take pictures as much as I was hoping for but I’ll share some snapshots which mostly about food hehehe.. It is obvious I ate a lot there!

One thing that I can proud of about Bontang is you have various foods. Bontang is a small city where most of it’s resident were immigrants; It’s a melting pot.You can easily find Coto Makassar to Solo meatball. Lamongan seafood to Padang food. Soto Banjar until Tahu Campur. And they were taste good! I never taste a better empek-empek like Bontang had; talk about where the food originally comes from...
So it’s clear that next back-to-hometown holiday will be longer and I will gain some kilos! :D

See you later, bees! :)

Singer

I have one beautiful blue square-shaped notebook which I used as 'dream book'. I write all my dreams that is pop up from my mind there. Each day. Sometimes I read it through from the start. Sometimes I smile because I have achieved the dreams, in the other time it caused wrinkled in the forehead; that's when I found some that has not been achieved. Whatever is it wrinkle or smile, it recharge my spirit to do my best each day. I still have a lot of dreams to achieve.

One of my dream is having my own Singer. I have been crazy about handicraft since I don’t know. Hence having my own would be great; I don’t need tou sewing all day long by my hand literally. Furthermore, I can sewing my own clothes. Oh how great. I can sew my own skirt or shawl whenever I want! :)

Each sewing machine cost approximately two millions. I googled once but I don't know how much does it cost recently. I don't know exactly about sewing machine specification (Gosh, who knows they have a lot of features?!), but I think the basic sewing plus various embroideries features will just work out for me. Oh and it should be electrical sewing machine, of course :)

I planned to having this baby right after I get married. When that time comes I think I will have more time to spend my time doing my hobbies (bye school stuff! ;p). That's why I still have much time to learn about which type of sewing machine that suit me heheh...

Keep your spirit on fellas!

Mystic Blurry

Dannis shawl
Megumi black cardigan
thrifted printed dress
Connexion legging
TLTSN zebra printed flat shoes

I took pictures of myself and felt disappointed with the blurry result. But soon I found myself felt in love with it; I think it was lovely in different way.
I transfered the color into black and white and really satisfied with the result; for me it was romantic somehow. What do you think? :)

Inspired and Dreams

Now that my partner started blogging regularly couple months ago, he had decided Friday as a day to post about his dreams which is already or in progress of achieving. You guys may be bored with it (since as far as I remember, I had posted this thing couple times here heheh...), but I can't help it since I really love the phrase;

tell your dreams to as much people as you can, cause somehow they will help you chase them

So you see... writing about our dreams, here, once in a week is sort of genius for me. Beside that, how much dreams do we have? Millions! That's why we also don't need to be worried about lacking idea in midway heheh...which is means unlimited topic for post, if you don't get what I mean ;p

So officially I was highly inspired by my partner (great work, baby!), and decided to do the same for my blog. The difference is I choose Monday as a 'dream post day' because I think it's good to start the week by being reminded to our dreams :)

Well then... I'll see you in Monday with my first dream post, waffles! I'd love to hear your dreams too! Don't hesitate to share :)

Introducing: Next Indonesian Top Models

Found these photos when I was cleaning blog's draft folder and feels like posting it rite now haha... I took it around December 2008 (based on the date of the draft) for my Photography class. Lotsa things have been change since that time, incredible!

I didn't change even the tones of the photos... OMG, I was so geek in photos editing back then... not to mention the model itself :))

So please welcome Next Indonesian Top Models! :))

Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, I can't re-edit it since the draft was made in Blogger old setting, and I was too lazy to find the original file in my hardisk ;p

I couldn't believe I forced Dila jumping in our 7th floor of university library and made my brother posing in Ampel Mosque on 6 AM... So sorry guys, but thank you for sure! I got AB for my Photography final score :))

If there's a chance to do it once again, will you guys?;p

I'll see you soon, cupcakes! Keep giggling! :))

Savory

The last pieces of my Bandung snapshots... Paid off! Enjoy fellas :)

One thing I love about culinary in Bandung is you can get international dish  in sideways. I personally think it is a good, since offer international dish in a same area like we used to buy traditional food is one way to show that neither traditional or international, both are same. No one is more prestigious. Back to our taste, without outer intentions.
Beside that, I also adore all those enchanting cafes with nifty interior which is fulled along Dago. It makes the whole trip not only a culinary experience, but also an art appreciation journey. Coolness! :)

I'll see you with new topic! Stay rocks people! xoxoxoxo

PS: After met my counselor, she encouraged me to put details on my illustration book of final project, not change the entire drawing style in the book. Waaa!!! I was so happy I wanted to jumped! Alhamdulillah ya Allah... Thank you for once again showing your majesty... Alhamdulillah...alhamdulillah... Now I can spend my holiday  slightly! Teehee :D

Colors of Bandung

See! I fulfill my promise! Enjoy all these awesomeness :D

See the third picture? My favorite! I personally think a blue sidewalk is genius! All you need is just painting the paving and... voila! It recharge the mood of the walker heheh... And it is also looked cute... I was thinking about Surabaya do the same... I'd love walking on yellow sidewalk for sure!! :D
Oh and you see the pic beside? The necklaces are to die for... So bad I was running out of money that time so I couldn't get that loveliest...

Afterall, keep your head up facing Monday people!! :D
xoxoxoxo

PS: most of the photos taken during pasar Seni ITB 2010 heheh..
