the Sambal Goreng Kentang

My cooking mood is back! Consequence of being a moody is you have the ups and downs almost in everything hehehe...
Decided to make a Sambal Goreng Kentang for lunch... and decided to keep the leftover for Fried Rice-Noodle :)

I used everything that can be found in my refrigerator... which turned out I used chicken nuggets instead of chicken liver as usual Sambal Goreng hehehe...

How to make it is uber simple. Just blend all the spices (chilies, cayenne, tomatoes, garlic) before fry it together fried-chopped potatoes and nuggets. Don't forget to add sugar and salt during your cooking. Then, voila! Done!
For the Fried Rice-Noodle all you need is fry the ingredients together just like you make fried rice. Add another additional ingredients as you like. In my case, I put egg during the cooking process which turned out a scrambled egg, perfectly combined with other substances.

I must admit I prefer the dish to be more spicy. But I don't cook it for myself. Since my tester... uhm, my brother can't stand hot meals, I made it less spicy, more to sweet. And I guess he loves it! :)

Anyway, how's your weekend fellas? My grandma have been sick for couple days :( Hope she'll gets well very soon! Besides my regular visit to her house, I spare my time to do some projects and... doing nothing hehehe... Next agenda are I'm going to have molar surgery tomorrow and starting working on my Final Project, again! The holiday is finally over ;p

I'll see you in no time darlings! x

Not Trying to be Like DR*

Even I'm not a fashionista, but I think every girl must be have at least a lil bit i'm-into-fashion-feeling deep inside. That's what happened to me! I mean, hey, sometimes we just love to dress up huh, ladies? ;p
Corniche top, unbranded inner, glasses and knitted skirt, Dannis shawl, Nevada nude flat shoes

So, with a mini tripod that I got from last birthday from my lovely husband-to-be, I found myself enthusiastically taking pictures of myself. Here again, a base characteristic of human being appeared; narcissistic! ;p

Actually, in regular days you'll meet me looking very comfy with my jeans and t shirt and 'instant hijab'. I mostly wearing sneakers or the simplest cutting flat shoes you have ever met. I believe that despite of looking cute or beautiful, you must feel comfortable with your outfits first. But of course I have an exception! I'll dress up to the max for party! ;)

See if I'll post another things like this later... Much kisses!!!

PS: I'm trying to post regularly by now. But this internet connection started giving me headache. oh shit.

*a famous Indonesian fashion blogger, Diana Rikasari. Oh, of course I love her! I read her blog every single day! But of course only one DR in this life, just like only one misstyzha :)

The Bar and The Pinkish Stuff

People! Have been quite long, eh? Don't you miss me? ;p Well, here I come with hot updates!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just like I have told you, I was busy preparing my first Final Projet bar. And last Thursday I finally got the chance to face that moment! I had been nervous all day long, but alhamdulillah everything  went well... very well :D

Did I look cool? ;p

The bar started late, which I called blessing in disguise. Why? Because the waiting time give me more time to read again all over my materials, scanning my handout and finally time to relax... See, how God helped you in surprisingly way! :)

Even I think I did good, the biggest part which made the bar ended well should went to all supports that my family, bf + his family and of course all my cool friends and everybody gave to me. Remember the wise word, pray is the biggest power on earth. Without all your prayers guys, I was nothing. You are all awesome! Thank you! Thank you!

...anyway it's not the end yet. I'm going to face the next bar few weeks away. But I feel much more confident since I believe all we have to do is just do the best, pray, then God will do the rest! :)

Next... won't talk much about it here since it gave me a heartbreak. But after all, you maybe know that I had worked in sort of office, yeah just say that. I had been believe that I'll be part of them until I graduate from my uni. But, God had His plan, everything changed and soon I found myself left them before I graduate.

A perfect mix of co-workers and family; bound in a same enthusiasm

I hardly visit them since I left cause it gave me a strange feeling; never really sure what it was. But right after all the bar thingy had done, I fulfill my own promise to went there. That time, they were holding open recruitment for new staffs. Papers, discussion, arguments, all covered in kinship atmosphere gave me the nostalgic feeling and soon I was feeling blue.

I never regret my choice to left since it wasn't an overnight thinking. But I always thinking that I hadn't push myself to the limit before I left, that I hadn't been a good leader, and so on... One thing that I am happy about is, they are all in good hand now. My successor will do better than me, I'm sure about that :) *you may call this chapter an atonement... or longing form ;p*

Okay skip the blues! Now, it's time to pinkish stuff!

I was browsing along through Google when my eyes caught this gorgeous gown. I never familiar with 1920's style until know, but if it's really the example of the dresses of that era, can you kill me now?

I am a big fan of dusty color and this salmon pink gown fits the rules. Don't mention the flower smocks even the fitting, I simply want to die cause this is the wedding gown of my dream!! I am wondering is it will be as gorgeous in ivory...

I'll see you in no time cool people! Kisses!!!

Roses and the Caterpillar

Roses

markers on paper
then retouched in Adobe Photoshop (to add the 'underpainting' effect)

I always have strong feeling with roses... My favorite is the white one; almost beat my favorite flower ever; sunflower. But actually, like other common girls, I love almost all kind of flowers. As long as it doesn't have caterpillar in it.. My friend once saw a caterpillar in her flower bouquet. How startling! Thing that made it worse was, she had just smelled out the flower. EUH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll see you in no time, darlings!

PS: I'm going to have Final Project first bar this Thursday. So please please if you love me, pray for me, eh? Thankies!xoxox

Act Ladylike

Ladylike

markers on paper
retouched in Adobe Photoshop CS3

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. BE HAPPY, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel-and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
- Esther Hicks

A wise word that I got from Alodita's blog. A beautiful one isn't it? Make me remember one of Frances Hodgson Burnett famous book: A Little Princess. In that book, the main character, Sara, try to act like she is a princess. In her mind, princess never complaining nor make life as an excuse to not feeling happy... So it's concluded that act ladylike help us happier. Cause we are the ladies, we are the one who control ourselves.

Beautiful Hat

Beautiful Hat

pencil and markers on paper
retouched in Adobe Photoshop CS3

Have I told you that I love colors? I rarely let my illustration in black and white. Even if I did, I'd put any bright color as an eye catcher. Most of time I use any piece of paper or I draw in my diary. I have a diary which have beautiful brownish papers that really look like a recycled paper; I can't help doodling all the pages! I don't really fancy digital illustration, I prefer doing manual. However I usually retouched the brightness contrast in my design software. Oh, what else? Well, it's Sunday! I'm going to out of town right after this, sort of family gathering. I hope you enjoy the last day of weekend too :)

I'll see you around gorgeous people!! Will be lotsa illustrations ahead! I'm in the mood right now! Kisses!

Actually I’ve been a lil bit wee known in my hometown as one of the ‘it girl ‘in literature haha... so you see how Amien Wangsitalaja feel so sorry that I haven’t made any writings since i left high school...till now I almost finish my study in uni. Things above is my 2011 resolution which I wrote in the early of this year. Now is October. Wow, something. It may sound cliche but, hey, is it just me but is it really time flies so fast?

Two months ahead we will facing December, the end of the year. Anyway we still have 2 months ahead to fulfill everything that already we had planned for this year. For me myself, I don't have problem with number 1, 2, 6, 8. For number four, I'm still working on it... For number 5, I think I should wait till the very last time; I'm waiting some big news around here... And for the rest.. well, we also should wait till early next year when I will write sort of kaleidoscope of 2011. So far, it's quite satisfy year but I'm willing to make it better than ever. Of course :)

So, how's your 2011 so far fellas? Tell me :)

Hence, I just want give the best for this thing. I may graduate late, but I shouldn't graduate with 'so so' mark.
