For Beau's Birthday

Decided to make an artwork for my loved one's birthday last 19th June... I can't never really enough thanking God for let him staying by my side until now... even get a chance to soon tie the knot with him, alhamdulillah :') Hey, EAW, I love you! :p

By the way, yesterday he just came here to Surabaya, passing through 12 hours of road trip only to do a live version of 'I'm so sorry' after our last hard arguments which ended with me bursting too much tears. Anyway, I didn't plan to forgive him so soon... but after seeing him in front of my house, I felt like all the anger and sadness soon went away... Silly, huh? I know... people can be so silly when they were in love ;p
He back to his town in that night because actually he will be moving to another place in two days. Talk about packing stuff. Nevertheless, I really appreciate what he have done. He even still wearing his working pants! :)

Hearing a lover babbling is quite boring, eh? :p I'll see you soon, people! Have a good day! :)

Drawing Together

We decided to do drawing together! :D

The idea was drawing together in A3 sized paper about our activity that day. Since I was not in my top condition, I picked a little space from the corner.

And finally,  this is it! :D
The picture cover our day :') You know who drew what.

BRAngerous, Dream // Obsession

It was back then in 2008 when I first knew about BRAngerous. That time, this woman exhibition community first held their exhibition in CCCL Surabaya. I was thrilled to joined but too bad I didn't pass the curation phase. This year, after the long hiatus,  I was lucky to be part of BRAngerous reborn. And this year, of course I'm no longer a newbie; I have learned to do the best in almost everything. This exhibition for example.

That was 3rd Indie Clothing Expo (Gramedia Expo Surabaya, November 11st-13th) who entrusted BRAngerous again to tone up their expo. This is the second opportunity since BRAngerous had participated in their 2nd. The theme of our exhibition itself was Dream// Obsession.

Artworks from some participants
Maria Goretti's rice sack medium artworks. Who guessed?
My artwork
A very proud girl here hehehe..

''Le Accessoire''
(Accessory)

20 cm x 20 cm
Mixmedia on paper

One of my dreams is having my own accessories line which brings both beauties and joyful to all women

PS: If you like, you can be part of BRAngerous too! Simply visit their website and follow the rules :)

Roses and the Caterpillar

Roses

markers on paper
then retouched in Adobe Photoshop (to add the 'underpainting' effect)

I always have strong feeling with roses... My favorite is the white one; almost beat my favorite flower ever; sunflower. But actually, like other common girls, I love almost all kind of flowers. As long as it doesn't have caterpillar in it.. My friend once saw a caterpillar in her flower bouquet. How startling! Thing that made it worse was, she had just smelled out the flower. EUH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll see you in no time, darlings!

PS: I'm going to have Final Project first bar this Thursday. So please please if you love me, pray for me, eh? Thankies!xoxox

Act Ladylike

Ladylike

markers on paper
retouched in Adobe Photoshop CS3

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. BE HAPPY, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel-and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
- Esther Hicks

A wise word that I got from Alodita's blog. A beautiful one isn't it? Make me remember one of Frances Hodgson Burnett famous book: A Little Princess. In that book, the main character, Sara, try to act like she is a princess. In her mind, princess never complaining nor make life as an excuse to not feeling happy... So it's concluded that act ladylike help us happier. Cause we are the ladies, we are the one who control ourselves.

Beautiful Hat

Beautiful Hat

pencil and markers on paper
retouched in Adobe Photoshop CS3

Have I told you that I love colors? I rarely let my illustration in black and white. Even if I did, I'd put any bright color as an eye catcher. Most of time I use any piece of paper or I draw in my diary. I have a diary which have beautiful brownish papers that really look like a recycled paper; I can't help doodling all the pages! I don't really fancy digital illustration, I prefer doing manual. However I usually retouched the brightness contrast in my design software. Oh, what else? Well, it's Sunday! I'm going to out of town right after this, sort of family gathering. I hope you enjoy the last day of weekend too :)

I'll see you around gorgeous people!! Will be lotsa illustrations ahead! I'm in the mood right now! Kisses!

Book Launching, Graduation, and Everything within

Had a very happy and beautiful weekend alhamdulillah... Attending the launching of Kitab Writerpreneur last Sunday with MasnyaMisstyzha (he was spending weekend here! :D). The author, Sofie Beatrix is the wife of Jamil Azzaini. So, we got the free training by JA himself hehe... It was the first time for both of us seeing presentation from JA himself, and soon I found out that the presentation was superb, inspirative yet full of fresh jokes. MasnyaMisstyzha was so thrilled, that's a bonus for me :p

Anyway..I designed the cover for Kitab Writerpreneur. What do you think? ;p

Go grab in nearest bookstores!

Right after that, we were such in a rush went to my department to attended such an 'after party' graduation of my fellas. Ahhh they were looked lovely :3 Congratulation Uut, Widya! Hopefully me, Icha and Resti will soon graduate!!

See the paintings in frame which they bring? That were a graduation gift from us! An illustration of their face n personality hehe..

Uut, the one with songket, was alone since her family left firstly. So, we were sort of babysit her since Uut could be so clumsy and forgetful with her things hihi.. But still, it was fun! Can't wait for my own graduation!!

with Dila :')

And the day was ended with me spending time with MasnyaMisstyzha before took him to train station for going back to Bogor...

Super happy!! :)

Note: pics were taken by me, MasnyaMisstyzha and Resti :)

Painting: Madamoiselle et Fleurs

The process

 Madamoiselle et Fleurs
(Lady and  Flowers)
25 x 25 cm
acrylic on canvas

I started doing paintings again in my free time. I don't have much free time thou but I think I shud spare time to do some artsy thingy or my creativity will soon wither. I found out acrylic was fun thou I prefer poster paint or oil paste due to easy-to-dry characteristic that acrylic has; I was running out time when I try to mix some colors.. or is it just me who works too slow. After all I still need much practices.

Stay tuned for my upcoming artsy project! x

Azka and Lily

Lily is Too Curious with What Her Brother Doing
ink on paper, colored by marker then retouched and background doing in Photoshop CS3

Plan to post this illustration as an Eid Mubarak congratulation post; see the gesture of Azka look like he is celebrating something?; but give apologize for my euphoria, I can't wait, so here it is a regular post.

Why children illustration? The truth is I have been dreaming about having three or maybe five children. I am so in love with all those petite creatures and can't wait to feel all the baby kicks in my tummy :')

My everlasting (and maybe craziest) dream is surrounded by kids who take my hands and saying "Mommy mommy.." with their cutest angelic voice. Oh my... hahaha...

Anyway, in my story, Azka is the second children when Lily (her full name is Malika), are the youngest. The big sister is Caca or Sazha which I already made before here.

Sorry for my craziness! Haha...

Joyeux vingt-troisième anniversaire mon petit copain..
Succès pour vous, Que Dieu vous bénisse toujours.. Je t'aime ♥

Anywaayyyy I'd like to post the original photo which I used for the poster hihi... It was taken by myself on our first meeting last year, June 2010.. Ah, it felt sooo long time ago, did it? :')

In case you're wondering, HE who fall in first. Later he said it's more like love at first sight.. Ah, attracted in a first sight sound more suitable ;p So please don't trust every single bit if he start to tell  you something like I'm the one who did hihi... He like to be joking around about that ;p

And yes, today is also our 7th monthversary! Wish we can keep up the good work till time to tie the knot ya.. Beg for your pray :)

I'll see you around people! xoxoxoxo

*if I am not mistaken, the French words above means ''Happy 23th birthday my boyfriend.. Good luck for you, may God bless you always..'' and for the last one I'm sure you know what it means, eh? ;p
