#Day 1: Your Best Friend

High school
*my nose is so...euhhhh!*

On last hi school reunion, September 3rd 2011

One of my best friend, @MauLLidaa. Having this friendship since we were in high school till now we almost finish our undergrad degree... In a high school we shared same enthusiasm from taste till jokes, spending break time in warjok* until having remedial for particular science subjects, many times, hehehehe... Not like I'm proud of it of course...after all that was in the past :p
We simply had tons of similarities even people said we both alike. But of course Maul always beat me, she is natural-born beautiful ;p

Now Maul is studying in Jogja, majoring Medicine and I am in Surabaya, follow my passion in Design. But the chance to meet her still become my pleasure. For remembering those old times which were just too lovely to be forgotten :) Hope we can be BFF, eh, Maul? Don't forget me? *gosh, I can't believe I said such a things ;p*

Over n out people!

*warjok is stall that is located in the corner of our school building. That's why it's called warjok, which stand to warung pojok, a Bahasa for corner stall.

Laugh from Friends

What's up people? Hey, have I told you all that I've got a new teacher in my English course named Tom? Different from other teachers that I ever got before, he's young; later 20s or maybe early 30s. And he's handsome! Doesn't mean it give any sense after all... What I am trying to say is, what makes he's different is he doesn't talk to much. He doesn't try to be more like... umm fatherly or more like teacher, he is just..Tom. He come to teach almost sleepy all the time, bald with shirt and tie, brings a cup of coffee in one hand and yawning. At first it bothered me, but in the end I figured out that he is just trying to be honest. Otherwise if one of us feel bored with his class, we can show it, expressively, by put our hands on the chin and nobody hurt. That's the deal.

Later, things went much better between Tom and us. I mean more talks; not a very far gap of age let us talk about movie, music and daily life in same view,  more laughs; let me see you seeing him mimics a 8th year old girl saying 'Daddyyy daddyyy.... I want a blackberry.. ' then stomp his feet while saying 'Nooo.. I want Blackberry not Blueberryyy...' with all those annoying expression... and new vocabulary! He spends most of time tease us by saying 'kamu malas' when we say 'nooo..' for the homework or practicing all his new vocab in Indonesian which most of then are not that nice in meaning... I'm wondering who teach him that inappropriate words... But, he also mock us using English which is fun cause that mean we learn new vocab in... umm unusual way hihi... So my list from the last meeting is, spoilt brat and uncultured. Two of them mean anak nakal dan manja and kampungan in Indonesian. I know what you're thinking, but still, you should admit, it's fun! And yes, it's only joking after all  :D

Oh and here they go a few photos from Magnum Road Cafe.. Too bad, I didn't take pictures at all; my friends who did and most of them were blurred. I had been sick that time, my body was cold and I felt nauseous so I was just sitting and eating ice cream while they were playing around and took many many narcissistic photos hehe...

I always amazed at fireworks, didn't you?

Anyway, guys, what did you do when you were down? I mostly talk to my closest friend or relatives to make me feel better. But if it just too hard, you can't beat the power of pray :) And read some of some self improving books will help, give it a try :)

I'll see you soon! xoxoxoxox

The Man Turned into 23

Decide to make a typo-based poster of my bf's face for his 23th birthday. Since I used the same technique for my Advertising class, he keep bugging me to made him one :p

So here it is boy, hope you like it :)

Anywaayyyy I'd like to post the original photo which I used for the poster hihi... It was taken by myself on our first meeting last year, June 2010.. Ah, it felt sooo long time ago, did it? :')

In case you're wondering, HE who fall in first. Later he said it's more like love at first sight.. Ah, attracted in a first sight sound more suitable ;p So please don't trust every single bit if he start to tell  you something like I'm the one who did hihi... He like to be joking around about that ;p

And yes, today is also our 7th monthversary! Wish we can keep up the good work till time to tie the knot ya.. Beg for your pray :)

I'll see you around people! xoxoxoxo

*if I am not mistaken, the French words above means ''Happy 23th birthday my boyfriend.. Good luck for you, may God bless you always..'' and for the last one I'm sure you know what it means, eh? ;p

Beginning

(I'll be using Indonesian. Sorry foreigners :p)

Cause honestly, who will guessed?
Namun apalagi kalau bukan takdir namanya?

Karena sejak awal pun saya merasa he’s kind of good guy.

Dan mendadak lagu Dia dari Maliq and d’Essential jadi theme song of my life. /Dia melihatku apa adanya/ seakan ku sempurna..
Pelan-pelan good menjadi more than good, then different, then special.

Then I found myself falling in love

Cause life is all about taking risks.

I’m thinking about it for a while and found that he’s maybe right :)

And really mean it..*
Seseorang yang bilang "I’ll call you in the end of the day" saat tidak ada kesempatan untuk bertemu..

:)

Jadi malu :p

Bismillah.

hope it could be..

I’ve just adventuring on my documents in my mobile PC haha.. i opened some folder to see what is inside excatly. Yea, you shouldn’t believe it that i rarely monitoring what is inside which made me hard to find where i took some files when i need it. Ok then i got some folder named HOS which is stands for House of Sampoerna. I opened it and found some photo from one of greatest time in m life. Those were photos of my first time visiting HOS. My friends Dila took me there.

Oh gosh we look so young there!

It was around March 2008, almost one year before now. Even i still wear my old glasses.

Dile became my friends since we talk each other in Manarul Ilmi’s ground, after we did Ashar pray, in Orientasi Mahasiswa Baru ocassion. She talk to me first, ask about small things and i fall for her since that time. She kinda sweet and humble girl that time, and still, until now.

We spent a lot of time and stay through the rain together haha.. we’ve got some problems one time but we can make it together and keep staying. She lost her mom in first year she became universiy student and i was there to see her heart has broken. That became my biggest sorry then, i hate when she sad cause missing her mom :( she such a tough girl afterall.

We have same excitement in music, both of us like indie music even i prefer to unique sound and she prefer the techno one. We change our mp3 collection some times and we attend music gigs many times together. Ohh she love JaneDonna, indie band from Surabaya, and became their loyal fans since high school haha! Even Mbak karin, the vocalist of the band made a song for her. The titled is Dila, tells about a girl with brown eyes who always think life such a beautiful thing.. if i didn’t wrong get what the song mean :p

Oh the JaneDonna’s sing that song when we attend their concert in CoffeeCorner! Such a lovely moment seeing Dila looked so.. what? blushing, happy heard the song :)

Based on the tagline in the primary photo above, everlasting, i just hope we can make this friendship stay alive dila.. everlasting should be :)

*the prim photo is one of my favourite. i took the shadow of us in old mirror in HOS

note of today

Zulfiah azmy, begitulah nama salah satu bude saya. Paling nggak sabaran paling nggak telaten.

Rintangan pertama selesai.

Perlu pemirsa ketahui saya belum pernah ke pasar keputih waktu pagi haha. Biasanya waktu sore sepulang kuliah untuk membeli telur (bukan berarti saya sering masak, saya Cuma butuh kulit telurnya buat prakarya hehe). Jadi datang ke pasar cukup bikin saya nervous rupanya (kenapa coba?)

Sepeda oleng kanan kiri menghindari orang-orang2 di gang pasar keputih. Setelah markir sepeda saya celingak celinguk kayak orang goblok mencari target.

Ibu penjual: (bingung memandangi tangan saya. Mungkin ibunya mikir “yo terus lapo..”ato mikir saya jualan kresek)
Tz: (agak ngerasin suara) ini buat ibu
Ibu penjual: (masih bingung mungkin kali pertama ngadepin cewek yang tampang n suaranya lebih mirip mau ngemis ketimbang mau ngasi) kresek buat ibu?
Tz: iya bu
Ibu penjual : Oh ya makasih (mukanya masih bingung)

Geez. Gue goblok banget deh.

Gatau kenapa gt aja saya nervous. Pokoknya ga pengen diliat orang aja. pengennya ga ktauan siapa2 waktu ngasi. (ah norak banget sih gue gt aja udah takut dikira knapa2 ah aneh nihh). Takut penjualnya mikir napa nih orang ngasi2 (aduh su’udzon mulu nih gue)

Anyway habis itu saya muter2 pasar skalian beli telur (sekarang emang buat digoreng). Tapi keabisan telur di warung langganan. Cegek. Akhirnya nyari di kios lain. eh liat orang jualan tempe jadi kebayang goren tempe sendiri enak kali ya? Pake margarin. Ngintip dengan tertarik trus tanya berapa harganya tempe. Ya ampun yang kecil seribu doang! Aduh histeris deh gue gatau harga pasar deh. Gue kira 2 rebo atau tiga rebo gataunya tempe tu murah ya? (sumpah norak)

Pas beli lagi saya bilang ke penjualnya.
Tz: ga usa pake kresek mas!
Mas2 penjual yang anehh: (cengengesan sambil nyerahin tempe)
Temennya si mas2 yg anehh: lho mbak ini bukan lamaran lho! (cengar cengir)

Ihh. Nih si mas ga ngerti global warming kali ya.

Penjaual: 8 ribu mbak seperempatnya
Tz: ooh..(emg ga niat beli Cuma iseng nanya doang tapi ga cepet2 pergi biar ga kliatan iseng)
Penjual: 7500 deh mbak?
Tz: (cepet2 pergi)

Trus muter2 gt ga jlas banget deh. Mungkin tampang saya emang bukan tampang pasaran ya dalam artian muka jarang ke pasar (tampang bingung hopeless gt) sampe pas ketemu penjual di warung langganan saya dy bilang “itu lho mbak jual telur di sana..”

Geez. Tampang gue segitu merananya kali ya? Thats why saya memutuskan cepet2 kabur.

Kalo njualin minumannya bapaknya biasanya ga pake sedotan! Cuma gelas ma sendok kecil aja. haduh seinget saya sih gt.

2# Tri Rismaharini

Next great woman that i would like y’all to know is Mrs Ir Tri Rismaharini, MT. She was the Head of Dinas Pertamanan Surabaya who now working as the Head of Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan (Bappeko) Kota Surabaya.

Emm.. i’m not sure how to write Dinas Pertamanan and Bappeko in english so i choose wrote it in original language. Can somebody help me translate it?^o^

Anyway not like Kyoko who i interviewed by live, i saw Mrs Risma when i covered a seminar which she had been a speaker there. Honestly, that seminar is kind of boring (oops..) i feel dizzy and i suppose others too cause i saw no interaction between the earlier speaker and the audience (oopss again, sorry..)

I know that she would be a speaker there and i was wondering how she will looked like cause i already heard about her several times before but haven’t meet yet. The master of ceremony said that Mrs Risma would came late cause she must do something before, so when in the middle of the seminar the woman came into the room, sitting in the back, i’m just so so at first.

But then i was wondering who she is cause although she was sitting in the back, it can’t cover her appeal at all. She just look smart and when she started to talking with someone in front of her (which i suppose were a journalist) i’m wondering it could be Mrs Risma.

see the great woman inside?

And her presentation was great! Eventhough she said that her presentation didn’t related too much with the main topic of the seminar, i suppose nobody cares about it. Her presentation kinda brings fresh wind to a dizzy people around (include me). Seems like her way of talk which so lively and her fresh joke made the seminar more alive. I’m not joking about it. Man in front of me which yawn several times before, now seems laughing several times and i’m sure he listen to all what Mrs Risma said. And not only the man. Especially people in the back which spent almost all their time to talk with person beside them, now seems pay full attention to Mrs Risma. Even when they talked each other, it was for commenting what Mrs Risma said.

Weew. It’s a rare phenomena for me.

Oh yes. And i woke up from my nap then focus again to what should i do, covering news. Thanks to Mrs Risma.

Actually what i’ve been learning for her is her confidence. I suppose you can get more information about her in many source. From her talking and what i’ve read about her, she kinda brave woman who very dedicated with her work. Maybe i can’t perfectly tell you what she really left to me, but one of them is yes, her braveness. And her belief; how hard it is, it’s still must be done if it is already be our responsibility.

And how hard the truth could be, it still worth it to be done.

Honestly, it’s rare for me to meet the government employee. But i suppose if we have more Mrs Risma in our country (oh come on) we should have done better. You go Mrs Risma ;)

1# Kyoko Nakano

Since i have been involved in ITS online crew, i got a chance to meet many people. Some of them leave mark in my heart cause their humble, and other push me to go forward cause their high spirit.

I’ve got some here. All of them are woman. It doesn’t mean that i haven’t meet great man actually, it’s just to show especially for you who are a woman; being a woman makes no difference in the way we work. I believe that woman and man are different, each have their own part. But i really hate woman who use their status as a woman as a reason to stand all their way in man’s hand and limit their selves to develop.

Emm..sounds like i am kind of feminist yeah? Haha i’m a feminist who need a man ;p. And being a housewife is my childhood dream ;p ;p (oh why i told you bout this?haha..)

First i would like you to know Kyoko Nakano. She is a Deputy team Leader for JICA PREDICT ITS, a cooperation between ITS and JICA in field of ICT. I interviewed her on February for first edition of ITS Point, ITS’ magazine.

this is Kyoko :)

I was enough nervous at the time because that was the first time for me to interview foreign people. Everybody push me to do this task ‘oh come on you’re able to speak english!’oh yes but even my TOEFL score haven’t reach 550!

I still remember i cooped up in ITS online room for one hour, peeped Kyoko’s Nakano room (yes, our room is in the same floor on ITS library floor 6th) i don’t know hoping for what, hoping she walk out for her room or what.. just want to see my informant-to-be.. or just wait till my heart beat reached it’s normal beat..i don’t know. I done such a stupid things till Brother Marji, my senior in ITS online said ‘what kind of journalist who is coward?

Ouh yes. Honestly it really bit me but thank you bro!^o^

Then i went to Kyoko Nakano’s room and got some interview in english. We were accompanied by Brother Muis, Indonesian people who work in the same room with Mrs Nakano. One thing that i got then is Nakano was a humble people.. and i suppose it was the characteristic of japanese people, she was confident to talk. Even though her english conversation at the time was not very good but she talked as confident as we all can hope (i really embarassed for this because i almost have no brave to talk to her only about my english skill ;[ ). And about her humble heart. Ouh i feel really sorry for it too.. Maybe it’s because my low self-confident at that time, there was such a worry that i would be humiliated by her or what. (i’m really really sorry for this; i’m such a negative thinking people at the time ;( ) so i was enough surprise to found her talked so humble.. so nice.

And i realized that i still appreciate what she did that time, i think it’s touch my heart. She is pleasant woman at all :)

I suppose that i quite like her so i gave her a birthday gift (actually Nakano said that birthday date is privacy for Japanese people so i don’t mentioned it in my article, but then it made me felt like have a responsibility to give her something. Haha i don’t know what this thinking came from ;p)

Then she emailed me:

Dear Ms.Inandia

This is Kyoko, PREDICT-ITS.

Thank you very much for the beautiful gift! I love it!

East Kalimantan is one of the places that I've been strongly

attracted to but not visited yet.

Especially, I'm interested in the creatures there,

and hope that I will have a chance to see them in the near future.

I'm sorry I could not see you when you visited our office, and

sorry for being so late in saying thank you due to my business trip to Papua.

Good luck in your work for ITS Point,

and we're always very grateful to your warm attention on our project.

Regards,

Kyoko

Can it be sweeter than that eh?? I gave her a Dayak wallet. I suppose that she would like it. And one copy of ITS point that she was being a profile there.

Well Mrs Nakano, you're welcome. Thank you for your warm attention too :)
